Giannis Misiakos | PhD Scholar

​Giannis is a design researcher at Swinburne University of Technology and The Fertility Preservation research team. He is engaged in the development of a digital tool designed to aid fertility preservation decisions. Giannis has also coordinated a multi-institutional research study aimed at co-creating a sexual health and fertility app for young people with cancer. 

In addition to research, Giannis has experience in industry and as an academic tutor at Swinburne University's School of Design, mentoring students in their academic journeys. His experience as a research assistant has allowed him to assist in data collection, participant interaction, and data organisation. In his academic roles, Giannis has also authored and co-authored academic papers, participated, and contributed to the organisation of research conferences.
